Rhythm is the daily, weekly and yearly recurring activities in our lives. There is something so magical about such a simple concept. Children thrive on familiarity and consistency.

Seasonal (Yearly Rhythm)
We embrace the changing of the seasons here at Sherwood Forest Preschool. The world around us is a very powerful teacher. By observing and experiencing the changes happening around us we learn more than we could from any other teacher. Our studies are always brought back to nature and the rhythms that it brings. In the fall we will harvest, preserve, learn about animals creating their stores for winter, watch the leaves change color and marvel at the life cycle of a tree. Through this your children will learn multitudes, all through PLAY and while building a beautiful community.
Winter, Spring and Summer will bring with them their own unique lessons.
